These Terms and Conditions constitute a binding agreement (“Agreement”) between you and Community Reinvestment Fund, Inc., d/b/a Community Reinvestment Fund, USA, (“CRF”) which operates Connect2Capital as a service to connect small businesses with sources of capital based on a broad set of criteria (the “Services”). By accessing, browsing and/or using this website (“Site” or “Connect2Capital Site”) you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use this Site. This Site may contain other proprietary notices and copyright information, the terms of which must be observed and followed. Information on this Site may contain technical inaccuracies or typographical errors. Please read this Agreement carefully and be aware that CRF may, in its sole discretion and without notice, revise these terms at any time by updating this posting. It is your responsibility regularly to review this Agreement and to acquaint yourself with any changes. Usage of this Site constitutes an irrevocable waiver of any claim that you did not read, understand, or agree to the terms of this Agreement.
Description of Services
CRF agrees to provide access to the Service based on your intent to find a commercial lender that may be able to meet your business’s capital needs. The Service is proprietary to CRF and is protected by intellectual property laws and other laws. Your access to the Service is licensed and not sold. Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, CRF agrees to provide you with access to and use of the Service.
Description of Connect2Capital – Connect2Capital asks you a number of questions to best match you with a small business lender. Once you have entered the requested information, Connect2Capital will present you with any financing products that meet your request criteria. The financing products will be listed in order of APR with the lowest average APR at the top. Each participating small business lender has provided information on their financing product and you may decide whether to send a full application to each participating small business lender by clicking on the link presented to you by that lender. Connect2Capital does not evaluate whether you are eligible for credit or whether a lender will accept your application, Connect2Capital merely connects you with a mission-driven lender that offers financing products that fit your requested criteria.
Disclosure of Fees – If you apply to one of the small business lenders presented to you through the Connect2Capital Site and you end up successfully closing a loan with that lender, the lender will pay CRF a fee between 0.25% and 1.0% upon closing. No fee will be payable by you for your use this Service. CRF will show you all matching products and you are responsible for evaluating and choosing the best lender and financing product for your needs. CRF may receive a different fee from various lenders, however, the order in which options are presented to you will not reflect those differences.
Disclosure of CRF as lender – In addition to operating the Connect2Capital Site, CRF and its affiliates also provide loans to small business borrowers and may appear as an option for you if you match with one of the financing products that CRF offers. CRF’s financing products will be listed in the same order as other lenders.
Application to Lending Partner – CRF makes no representation or warranties on whether a lending partner will accept or deny an application to them. After you have been connected to the lending partner, your application to the lending partner is between you and that lending partner. There are no guarantees whatsoever that you will receive a loan by using the Connect2Capital Site.
Copyright in Materials
The copyright in all materials provided or posted on this Site is held by CRF or by the original creator of the material. Except as stated herein, none of the materials may be copied, reproduced, distributed, republished, downloaded, displayed, posted or transmitted in any form or by any means, including, but not limited to, electronic, mechanical, photocopying, recording or otherwise, without the prior written permission of CRF or the copyright owner. Any unauthorized use of the materials contained on this Site may violate copyright laws, trademark laws, the laws of privacy and publicity and/or communications regulations and statutes.
